In Porto Ercole the regattas of the famous Italian Sailing Cup
Lots of Argentario sailing last Tuesday afternoon at the historic Lungotevere in Augusta site of the Reale Circolo Canottieri Tevere Remo for the presentation of the 35th edition of the Italian Vela d’Altura Cup and the second edition of the Italian Cup for Club – ENWAY Trophy, scheduled in Porto Ercole from 4 to 6 October this year.
These important regattas, the last test of the 2019 Trophy of the Shipowner, will be carried out in one of the most beautiful race courses in Italy and not only, and there are many prestigious Yacht Clubs that have already joined by putting their best sailors on the line and boats that will compete “on the last edge”. The Organizing Committee will consist of Unione Vela d’Altura Italiana, Reale Circolo Canottieri Tevere Remo and Circolo Nautico and Vela Argentario, in collaboration with Vele al Vento Asd and with the patronage of the Municipality of Monte Argentario.
The boats, thanks to the Municipality of Monte Argentario of the Mayor Franco Borghini of the Vice Mayor Cecilia Costaiola and of the councilor Azeglio Bagnoli, will be hosted at the wharves of Porto Ercole, where the Coppa Italia Village will be set up and the first five of the Group will be awarded. The delivery of the Coppa Italia and Coppa Italia trophies for clubs will take place on Friday 11 October 2019 at 6 pm at the Reale Circolo Canottieri Tevere Remo, on the occasion of the prize-giving ceremony for the shipowner of the year.
