The National Crossroads for Fishing and Recreation returns this year from January 18 to 20!
The National Crossroads for Fishing and Recreation (CNPL) is the first meeting of freshwater fishing in France. He is returning for his thirtieth edition on January 18th, 19th and 20th at the Grande Halle d’Auvergne, in Clermont-Ferrand.
The CNPL was created in 1989 by Jean-Paul Goutte-Quillet. For 30 years, this show has continued to develop to become a meeting point for fishermen from all over France.
In January 2018, the show attracted no less than 26,000 visitors, an increase of 17% over the 2017 edition. Visitors will be able to find in 2019 the largest pool in Europe and the model basin, which participate in the success of the National Crossroads for Fishing and Recreation for several years.
A “30 years old” special animation area will be set up at the show, with a photo exhibition tracing the fair’s history, a big screen and the “Safari des marques” competition.
The space dedicated to the federations, organized by the ARPARA (Regional Association of Fishing in Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes) and the ARP-NA (Regional Association of Fishing in New Aquitaine) will this year be enlarged and will host 30 federations of the Whole France. Visitors will be able to exchange directly and benefit from the advice of the representatives of the different federations.
Float-tube and kayak demonstrations and introductions will be offered free of charge in the Float-Tube Basin, led by the Federations and with the participation of Center France Evénements.
Visitors will also be able to watch fly fishing products and techniques during the Fly Fishing Basin show.
The Modeling Basin, a must-see at the CNPL, will exhibit models of different vessels. It will be accompanied by a special exhibition bringing together the models of the most iconic ships in the history of navigation.
