Yacht Club, the summer terrace of the Hotel du Crillon

The Hôtel du Crillon is changing to summer time and unveils the Yacht Club, its summer terrace that transports us to the shores of the Mediterranean until October 4, 2019 in Paris.

A holiday air blows on the Hôtel du Crillon. To welcome the arrival of sunny days in Paris, it unveils in partnership with Campari, the Yacht Club, a summer terrace ultra exotic that will take you off. Head to Gabriel Court to discover this hidden spot that invites you to take off without leaving Paris from June 1 to October 4, 2019.

From here, the Parisian agitation seems far away. We swap the clatter of traffic for the pleasant sound of a watercourse while facing us, we discover rising from the skylight a 2D yacht surrounded by waves by the artist Alexandre Benjamin Navet. Yes, at Crillon, we do not just cross borders, we also travel between dimensions!

But the Yacht Club is not only an invitation to take off, it is also a celebration: the 100 years of the Negroni. This flagship cocktail announced as the drink of the summer refreshes the taste buds with its floral and citrus notes linked by a sweet bitterness.

And as summer is also an opportunity to indulge in little crazy events, the Yacht Club also reveals an unusual declination of Negroni. It is tasted revisited with mezcal, an agave alcohol from South America. This version will appeal to palates fans of smoked flavors. When the sweet beaks want to sip a cocktail of a sparkling sweetness, let yourself be tempted by the Bellini, made with prosseco and peach puree.

And what better to accompany these Italian cocktails than straight flavors inspired by the garden of Europe? We literally love grilled octopus, lemon basil and chickpeas, as well as “napkin” pasta, a recipe from a grandmother like no other: that of Chef Boris Campanella. And who says Italy, says of course braided mozzarella, buratta and delicious plates of charcuterie. And sweet side, let yourself be tempted by a homemade ice cream!

Really, it’s as if we had taken out the mainsail!
