Prestige X70, a novelty heralding a new range, between yacht and superyacht
The Cannes Yachting Festival was particularly rich in news at Prestige Yachts, world leader in the flybridge motor boats from 40 to 65 feet, between the launch of the new Prestige 420, the 30 years of the yard, and the announcement of a new model to come: the Prestige X70!
The Prestige X70 constitutes, for the shipyard, the pursuit of its strategy of moving upmarket, no longer necessarily with larger units, but units positioned straddling the world of yachts and that of superyachts, by style and fonctionnalities.
In fact, the Bénéteau group – owner of Prestige Yachts – already controls the Monte Carlo Yachts yard, already active on units over 80 feet, and in a context where each brand must be active in a well-defined territory, it Seemed quite logical that Prestige should further strengthen its positions, by offering even more luxurious services to its customers.
To do this, the Vendée shipyard has decided to complete its traditional Flybridge or Sportop (S Line) type ranges with a whole new line of models: the X Line.
The first model will be unveiled within a year, and will be presented as a 70-foot unit, very original in style, directly inspired by the world of superyachts, but in a still reasonable format.
