Take part in the Rallye-Croisière Québec-Tadoussac!
Motorboats, sailboats and small craft, such as kayaks and paddleboards, are invited to join the Rallye-Croisière Québec-Tadoussac flotilla, which will depart from Québec on July 11 next for a week of safe and friendly navigation on the St. Lawrence Estuary.
The first two days of navigation will take the fleet to Cap-à-l'Aigle, then it will leave for the islands of Pot à l'Eau-de-Vie, Tadoussac and Le Bic.
Before departure, a whole series of activities are planned, but festive evenings, conferences and training sessions will have to be redesigned to respect the social distancing required today.
Participants registered for the Rally will be entitled to significant discounts at participating marinas and from suppliers who support yachting on the St. Lawrence and who offer products and services to boaters.
Light boats will have shorter and more careful routes during the weekend of July 11 in the region of Quebec City and Île d'Orléans, as well as during the weekend of July 18 in the region of Bic and Tadoussac.
Sailors who wish to participate as crew but who do not have a boat and boat owners who would like to find crew members, either to go in the flotilla or for their navigation afterwards, are invited to join the VogAvecMoi community, partner-organizer of the Rallye-Croisière Québec-Tadoussac.
The objectives of the Rallye-Croisière Québec-Tadoussac
Allow Quebec boaters to reclaim the St. Lawrence estuary, in order to navigate safely and in greater numbers.
Promote boating in all its forms and decompartmentalize communities that navigate using engines, sails or human-powered (canoes, kayaks, SUP).
Create a lasting annual event that promotes the growth of boating and offers visibility to Quebec companies working in this field and to their products and services.
Show an example of a sustainable event, free from single-use plastics and environmentally friendly boating.
All the boats from the estuary and the Fjord, whether they participate in the Rally or not, are invited to the final evening in Tadoussac on July 18.
